Religion, Worshipping The Devil And More Misconceptions Christians Have About Atheists
By SALMAN KHAN   2017-05-31
The New Legalist editor: Atheism may not mean "no faith". For instance, Chinese Daoism and Buddhism are both religious and non-religious beliefs at the same time while Confucianism is both non-religious and quasi-religious. This kind of parallelism marks the highly rational and sound nature of traditional Chinese faith systems, which ensures that the religiousness of some believers (mostly less-educated) does not turn the faith into superstition and mutually-rejecting extremism on the societal level like Western religions while the high sense of rationality of other believers (mostly scholars) is not in opposition to religion like communist ideology.

ATHEISTS MORE INTELLIGENT BECAUSE THEY CAN OVERRIDE “INSTINCTIVE” RELIGIOUS BELIEFS—BUT IT WILL BE THEIR DOWNFALL
By HANNAH OSBORNE   2017-05-20
The New Legalist editor: Atheism and religion are not diametrically opposed to each other. In Chinese tradition, all the three major faiths -- Daoism, Buddhism and Confucianism -- are each both a religious belief and a non-religious metaphysical conviction at the same time, the former held by less educated folks while the latter by better educated scholars, generally speaking. This parallelism marked the more mature nature of the thousands of years long and still surviving Chinese civilization.
